I will bump this in three years time if I'm still alive

At least give a reason, example, or link?

oh sorry..just by watching film. looks like he has the smarts to go along with the talent...has offers from likes of stanford which says a lot

He looks pretty good on the edge, just sayin.

He is the reason I wouldn't be upset if we don't get Phillips. Phillips would be great to have, but we have Feist and I'm happy.

I've always seen him as a Mike even though most say OLB. He looks like he's built more for the middle IMO, he's a stout guy. plus watching his highlights, he plays alot of rush end, but he's not blitzing around the edge like Philips. He takes on blocks and dis-engages very well. Another reason I think he translates well in the middle, he's not afraid to take on bigger guys.

I could see him as a Vilma type LB. Not super big but fast and tough.

I worked one of their 7 v 7 games at the LSU
FOC tourney back in July. Chavis pretty much stayed and watched the entire game. Dude seemed kinda light in the arse but def isn't lacking when it comes to athleticism and agility

He'll end up at DE. I'll bump this in three years if I'm alive (and right)

He's only an inch or two shorter than a number of LSU DE's. Plus they stretch those heights like no other.

I hope they put him a linebacker

Right now our need is at LB so I believe he will stay there.

he's listed 6-1 in high school so he's probably 6-0. the last LSU DE of that height was al jones

6'1 230 were his measurables at the LSU camp. Sounds like a prototypical Chavis Mike LBer. I like him in the middle with Louis and Torshiro Davis on the outside.

Any word on him lately? Last article I read about him said that he was looking around.

SFP, I had a class w/ Al and he was more along the 6'1 - 6'2 range.. not that it really matters.. also, heard Montgomery is prob in that height range too. think he's listed at 6'3
I saw Feist on the local news and he appeared to be carrying a little more weight than when I saw him back in July
