Robinson vs. Fournette

Which is the better player? Which does LSU need more?
I tend to think that Fournette is the better player just based on his total number of skills plus I think LSU needs him more because we could be somewhat thin at the RB position.

Robinson can't run the ball worth a shite, but Fournette can't really drive guys off the ball.

There are literally a thousand threads on here discussing the skill sets of both.

Both will be great players. Well be fine without Robinson, but well be in a serious jam if Fournette goes somewhere else.

I am going to LSU camp and can't wait to see Robinson in person but still think we could do without him a lot more then Fournette.

Fournette
Regardless of what anyone or any service has or will say in the future.
LF is the #1 player period.

LF is the man of the decade but we get both so I ain't even worried.

LSU is all in for Fournette, passing on Adam Taylor last year, setting up a very thin backfield to make LSU as appealing to LF as possible. It would be crippling if he goes elsewhere.
Cam is just as good at his position as LF is at his. He's jaw dropping to watch live. He just destroys everyone lined up on him. LSU however has not set themselves to be in dire need of him. That is not to say LSU doesn't covet him, only to say the OL has been better stocked recently than the backfield.

Fournette without a question. Also look at the past decade at the top offensive tackles. There a bunch of hits and misses. Fournette is a monster and the best RB since Adrian Peterson, bar none.

Robinson is the better prospect simply due to the value of his position, but Fournette is probably more valuable given guys LSU's passed on at RB lately.
There are just as many misses at RB.
Trent Richardson, Marcus Lattimore, Michael Dyer, and CJ Spiller would all like their place in this argument.
Both of them are incredible, however, and it would be devestating if LSU lost either. No, not devestating in the sense of LSU falling into mediocrity, but Saban being able to come in and take either of these guys that LSU has known about since they were 8th graders would be ridiculous.

Robinson. Enough guys like Robinson on the line and you can make an average back run like Fournette.

You forgot Lache Seastrunk and DeMarco Murray

Robinson has more potential than just about every other offensive tackle in the last decade.

Fournette.
Next question. Do you have one?
