Running up the score on a team that you obviously out matched going into the game shows no class. And for a coach to give his boys a speech of non-factual information before a game is a sad way to inspire his players to pick on a team that they knew was weaker than them. And to kick an onside kick when you are already up 42-7 shows poor sportsman ship....Guess what it wasn't a championship game coach and what exactally about mamou scares parkview for them to behave this way.See yall next year and do let us mamou people know if there is going to be a dress code to get into the game.....

What exactly was said and how do you know?

They "beat up" on ya'll? Listen, from the sound of the game Parkview could have put up 90 points and shut Mamou out...be happy it was as close as it was.

As for the one who said Rob was'nt LSU caliber shows how much you pay attention to the kids being recruited for colleges. Rob could have gone to LSU easily he choose not to. And as far as the guy who said that they don't recruit because they don't have black kids on the team. since when does black or white have to do with recruiting or talent. What a racist thing to say. Just because parkview has a problem with recruiting people of other races does not mean they don't recruit. it just means they recruit selectivly.

Dude seriously, they don't recruit...get over it. You got beat by a bunch of rich white kids who spend 5 hours a day at school all summer so they can win...deal with it.

Also, to the other poster, they definitely recruited a few of those guys, but it was a completely different situation. A) it was basketball B) it was a different coach C) Parkview was still building as a school...i mean you can argue that Parkview recruited that one time but other than that it's pretty ignorant.

he chose for them to not give him a scholarship offer? that seems like a strange choice on his part.

I am beginning to feel like I'm reading a thread from "the outsiders" this could turn into a rumble.

It was in all the papers around here look up the daily world out of opelousas. It was said that parkview coach told the team that rob told a recruiter from mcnesse state that he was gonna rush for 260 yards on parkview.which rob did not say because he is not at all full of himself like that? what a stupid way to pump up your team. The coach might as well have lied and said mamou was talking about thier mama's. and other than the comment said we should be carefull about what we say because the parkview coach has alot of pull with mcnesse is a low thing to say. why would you try to pull a young kids scholarship oppourtunity away. how childish can you get? So what you can score 90 points against a team like mamou who is having a rebuilding year. lets see ya'll face a john curtis patriots or bastrip rams and see who gets stomped in that game. we accept losses gracefully because we don't recruit we have natural talent coming out of our town. we have up years and down years unlike a school who recruits.

Yeah this could turn into a rumble. If you read the papers you could know that rob choose not to go to lsu because they had to many running backs at lsu already. he did get a visit from an lsu recruiter. he wants to go to a school where he can be a full starter. He loves the game to much to sit on the bench unlike Clay Spencer who got recruited last year and is yet to see playing time on LSU's offensive line. Although LSU is an awesome team and i am a huge fan. Rob is smart enough to choose a school that will give him oppourtunities and a future instead of choosing for a team name or status. Just because you wear the tiger jersey don't mean you'll play as a tiger!Tell Spencer not to he might get to play by the time he is a senior.

How does an offensive lineman redshirting equate to him not loving the game? That is one hell of a jump in logic. Anyway, it shows he has more of a team ethic anyway, to be willing to wait his turn and support his teammates, instead of the guy who doesn't have an LSU offer "choosing" not to go to LSU because he feels like he should be starting immediately. That seems selfish.

Demon, I was considering just not responding, but your drivel went a bit too far.

Parkview did not onsides kick. Out of respect for the Walker kid, they did not want to kick off to him, and the upback was trying to squib the kick to one of the blockers on the second level. He damn near missed the ball and it went only 15 or so yards and Mamou was too inept to cover the ball. IT WAS NOT AN ONSIDES KICK.

If Parkview wanted to embarass Mamou, do you think they would have started taking a knee with 11 minutes to go in the game? Come to terms with reality, you got your arse beat, by a far superior team, a team that did everything in their power to not score. The first teamers came out mid second qtr.

Suggesting that LSU offered the Walker kid a scholarship is interesting and not supported by any facts. LSU is holding scholarships for Trent Richardson and if that falls through, then Christine Micheal, two of the top rated backs in the nation, not in Acadiana. Walker is a good back, but at 5'6" and 165 lbs, not alot of SEC teams are gonna come calling. Lay off the pipe.

Your weak attempts to disparage LSU and Clay Spencer only show your lack of knowledge about the college game and big time college football.

You are one of the most ignorant people to ever post on tigerdroppings...congratulations.

First off, I went to Parkview and played football there, but that doesn't mean I'm a huge fan of them. The coach and I have had a falling out so I usually never take up for them, but your posts are incredibly ridiculous.

Imagine an Opelousas paper talking about how big, bad Parkview came into Mamou and were classless blah blah blah. A) You don't know whether what was said in the paper is true B) You don't know for a fact that Walker didn't say that and C) Kenny G doesn't let reporters into his locker room before the game so how would someone know what was said? They keep a pretty tight lid on things and that's part of the reason they're so good.

And no, Robert Walker could not and will not and cannot go to LSU...he isn't good enough. Yea, he's a good player, but McNeese St. and LSU are two different worlds. You talk about how Rob didn't tell anyone he was gonna run for 260 yards cuz he's humble, yet he wants to go somewhere that he plays, he doesn't care where...sounds kind of like a me guy.

Honestly, LSU has one of the best OL's in the nation if not the best, but Spencer is supposed to go in and start?? Why is that? I will put money down that Clay Spencer is a starter before his career is done here.

You are so ignorant it's sad. I never thought bad about Mamou but maybe people are right...if you're the kind of person that lives in Mamou then I don't want to go there.

Spencer is a freshman that is red-shirting. You know like most freshmen olineman do at big boy schools.

You really are a pathetic piece of shite. No one talked shite about Walker, why talk down on Spencer.
