I think this card/reasoning is being overplayed. If he wanted those things he wouldn't have turned down Bama. I think its about more than that and its refreshing to have a recruit go about it that way for a change and not just chasing the biggest or most successful school.

i can't argue with the quantify of players LSU has in the NFL versus the quantity of OU players in the NFL.

i've said on numerous occasions that LSU makes perfect sense for phillips.
