Come play football at Alabama, but understand they we may pull your offer the week of NSD, so you better have a fallback plan.

What's going on at Bama? I'm thinking they are adjusting their strategy to accommodate the new 4-year scholarship rule that takes effect in 2016.

Yep, Saban's process just got complicated.

It looks like Alabama is pushing guys out who have been committed for awhile to make room for better players at the last minute. If so, that is dirty.

Bama loads up early to make sure they get guys, then they keep recruiting a bunch of other guys. If the new guys want in, they push the old guys out 5 days before NSD. IF that is what is happening, that is pretty bad. But, just win, baby.

The problem here is that it breeds an entitlement aspect among the players, which Bama has been struggling with. Each recruit thinks he is so special that Saban would push out another player for him.

Or, all of that could be false and maybe McGraw just wants to go elsewhere?

I doubt it. Kids will still get pushed out by telling them they'll flat out never play anyway and they'll likely transfer.

How long before we dub this the 3rd so-called "Saban Rule" (regarding recruiting).

AL takes only the best at the end. Hopefully, we do the same.

I'm going to go with the Nick Satan is an a-hole scenario until there is proof otherwise.

I thought we were supposed to be complaining about possibly signing another DB.

Hopefully we never extend an offer to a kid and then push him out a week before signing day.
