The ESPN "30 For 30" series has an installment on the SMU cheating scandal of the '80s named "Pony Excess". ED states very clearly on film that he HATES Texass with a passion.

ESPN Recruiting Nation show today summarized some of these threads. Said the dislocated knee cap was not career ending and would keep him out 4-6 weeks. They said Longhorns stopped recruiting him after giving him 90 days after he decommited to make up his mind. Said leaders now are A&M, LSU, Baylor, and Oregon. Said he averages over 30 points in basketball so thought possibility of playing both was real. Also said they were considering moving him out of their Wide Receiver category and into the Athlete category has he hasn't sent much time in pads catching the ball as he has been playing QB. Went on to say if he wound up playing basketball in college it would probably set back his development into a pure wide receiver. Said he might wind up as H back or slot as opposed to true outside receiver . Is this Russel Shepherd II?
good summary...I watched it also...
something that stuck out was RSJ stated the SEC is where big boys play...I wonder if that is intended towards us or aTm

I don't see the point in talking to the BEST WIDE RECIEVER in America and posting it on twitter if he knew he wasn't coming here.

I don't see the point in posting it any way. coach mac probably is confident but in no way he knows where RSJ will end up. we have been after him for a long time but we were after prevot from the start. just maybe this is our turn to get a 2013 texas guy.

I never thought we would end up with him but now that Texas has stopped recruiting him I love our chances. After we blow out aTm hopefully he'll want to have a chance at some national titles and become a tiger

Yea, just saw that on the espn feed. He's narrowed if to us and the faggies.
What does that mean. Haven't really followed him because I figured he wasn't coming here.

Unless something has changed, why the aggies over us? I just don't see how that would make a whole lot of sense. LSU is clearly the better team with a great recruiting class of QBs coming in. LSU also isn't far from home, so proximatey shouldn't be an issue. Les has also shown that he is more than willing to play the best player at the position, regardless of whether he is a freshman or not. With Texas out of the picture, I can't see us not getting him.
