After he has a ridiculous career at that level, Belichik will pick him up and play him just to try to prove he can win with him.

I remember getting ridiculed here when I said Sam McGuffie would be a college level bust.

It looks like he went thru a ton of injuries throughout his career. 3 concussions in his freshman season.

Didn't McGuffie lead Michigan in rushing as a freshman before leaving for Rice?

Of course, with that Michigan team, it wasn't saying much.

..not bad for a kid whose gone through his fair share of injury obstacles

To me it's lack of height and speed. Sproles and Woodhead a fast guys. Sproles is one inch taller and 15lbs heavier and still runs a 4.4. Woodhead is is three inches taller, 25lbs heavier and runs a 4.33. Paul is too slow, too short and too skinny to play Pro ball. Thing is that he had the talent but his body just didn't mature.
