I like the "ban" suggestion...at the very least, let the kid commit first...too many unknowns....

(ETA: But my larger point was about people being thoughtful and knowledgeable about the issues. There are too many "insiders", "friends of friends", etc., already, without the hungover herd from the Rant rolling over and starting a new thread every 15 minutes about firing Miles because we lost Speedy Noil and Gerald Willis - like they're runaway slaves or something.)

It's a LOCK that we will be misinformed every year . It's also a LOCK that people will get their feelings hurt and say silly things .
