Can someone break this down for me? Give me the evaluation on this kids upside pros and cons. Can he make an immediate impact?
I dont trust espns eval.
I don't know why he reminds me of KeKe Mingo. (Maybe it's the #49 jersey number and body frame.)

Mingo isn't a bad comparison. He's quick off the ball, has great feet and hands, good form tackler, but lacks strength to bull rush or be a strong run defender

He seems to play with a mean streak that we've been lacking lately on the Dline. He's a must get IMO

Agree with this post and also doc's one earlier. More quick and fast right now than strong. If you watch this video, you'll see Arden Key vs Drew Richmond twice. IMO, Key loses the first one to Richmond and wins the second one (Richmond has to hook his arm to stop him and appears like the coaches there are calling a hold on him by his reaction). You also will see Arden Key against Abdul Bello (4* FSU commit) twice and cleans Bello's clock twice. At the very end you also see Breiden Fehoko the Tech Tech DL commit doing nothing against OL Toby Weathersby. This ia all at the UA practices and during the game he looked fine but as I remember the DTs dominated that game so he had little to do.

Key was explosive during the game. Always in the backfield. We haven't brought in a DE like that in a long time.

He looked like a five star during the UA practices. One of the 247 guys said as much too IIRC.
