You really don't understand how those rankings are computed. They are weighted so that the number of recruits has very little impact on the overall team score. Do some reading and research before just regurgitating what others have said. You can drop our bottom 5 commits and we would still be top 10.

Go ahead, see for yourself with the 247 class calculator.

We didn't get recruits because of Miles . We got Recruits because of guys like Frank Wilson, Adam Henry , Corey Raymond , Austin Thomas and many others busting their arse .

Every bit of that was due to Miles alone. He hired all of those guys. When are dummys like you going to understand that everything is due to the head coach? That includes the field goal fake to beat Spurrier, the clock screw ups, the five fourth down conversions to beat Florida, winning TGOTC, 21-0, great recruiting years, poor recruiting...EVERYTHING!

Currently a top 5 class? What exactly does that indicate to you?

You guys can't be this dumb can you? Look at how many players LSU has committed of course their in the top 5. Look at the avg compared to the top 10. Currently this class barely top 15 based on that. Not impressed with the Coach O hires as far as recruiting so far but their is still time. Think we finish in the top 12 when all said and done. I will judge coach O and staff on keeping instate talent in next years class. i think so far the top talent is staying away this year because they want to see how LSU does under coach O in his first year.

so you drop the bottom 5 from the other teams in the top 10 and we barely in top 10. I'm not gonna sit here and argue with you but this class looks like it will be for depth in 2 or 3 years. I know some of these guys may turn into studs their senior year and if surtain and a few big wr's join then it moves to top 10 but next year will be key.

Dude! Dropping the bottom five recruits from our class gets the numbers even or less than the other classes in the top 10. Look at the class calculator, man. The bottom spots in a class add very little to the overall ranking.

247 does this specifically so smaller classes aren't unfairly disadvantaged in the rankings. This information is easily verifiable on the 247 site.

This is a dumb and embarrassing thread.

Exactly! Let's not do this. Coach O is a different coach than Miles. Let's just leave it at that. For all of the crap slung at him Miles has proven to be a class act and STILL represents LSU with class whenever he goes anywhere. Remember that Miles is/was an excellent recruiter but so is Coach O and one of the main reasons he is here. Lots of kids are just waiting to see how the new pieces all come together at LSU before committing. If we have success, like Miles did, you will see Coach O have lots more success. Can't we just sit back and let the coaches do what they do best? COACH.....

frick Miles, and all his 4-5 losses a year . Please, please, please OlePiss, hire his sorry arse. That would be a perfect ending for his 1920 offense, and his coaching career. Go ahead OlePiss, pull the trigger

LSU brand >>>> Ole Miss Brand

Miles won't have as much recruiting mojo as he did at LSU.

Miles isn't getting the Ole Miss gig.
