Recruiting Rant.....LC.....Its our fault!

I know this opinion won't be popular but i believe our passion as fans has been our biggest strength but also a flaw in the symbiotic relationship between LA and its sports programs. Especially in the case of LSU.
I am basing this off of what COllins stated.......Its been know for 2 years.
That comment alone made me dig deep in the LSU/LA climate at the time and we were all Fire Crowton ( i was big on this) fire Les Miles (never believed in this). I hate JJ start someone else. We were 8-5 and all people did was gripe piss and moan.
All Saban had to do was go in and show his pedigree, appeal to the youngster. Show him the money and draft record. Explain how he made LSU what it is today and then say the team is on the way down the coaches won't even be there for 2-3 years. I am here to stay. I have won a championship here at both Bama and LSU.
I mean i think we have to right to say what we want but there is always consequences in your actions. We even had the buzz as being Les miles was going to get fired at the beginning of this year.
If i was him i may have feel in love with Bama then as well. We all know how hard it is to get over your first love.

Way over analized. If he made his decision 2 years ago, it was b/c Bama was winning a championship while LSU was struggling at the time. By the time we turned it around, the kid was sold. Said he had no plans to stay home anyway, so in my opinion we were never an option.

Thats exactly what I am saying and think how we responded as fans. he is here in this backyard. you don't think he felt the animosity from fans at Les Miles and the status of our team.

Seems like his family are LSU fans, so I doubt this made any difference at all.

Okay so lets say i am completely off based here.
His family being LSU fans what were they saying during our tough time.
His tweets clearly show that he is receiving backlash from fans just like Saban prepped him.
You can say the logic is bad but I am will ing to put a years worth oaf check that this was a factor (may have been a small one) in his recruitment and how bama used this against us.
For the record i would have done the same thing.

It appears that his reasons for stringing LSU along was all for the satisfaction of his family. Based on their reaction and disappointment, he probably felt a strong obligation to feed his family's desires and to have his final two as LSU and Alabama, when all along, he was really wanting to go to Alabama.

I don't buy that at all. The heat is on the GF and GF mom from the family and LSU fanbase. He is trying to shield them from their recent influence.
I believe if mom thought that his decision was soley his she wouldn't be taking that stand.
GF and GF mom has been pulling rank on mom from the getgo.

you would lose. collins is running away from his problems. He's running from the family issues. the disfunction has made him want to run away. it's obvious.
one problem, you can run but you have to bring yourself with you. geographics doesn't make the problems go away.
