If backing into a title is define as teams ahead of you losing late in the season to get you into the BCS Championship then Alabama has backed into their last two. They were fortunate to get a rematch with LSU after the 2011 season when several teams lost late and were out of this year until Oregon and Kansas State both lost on the second to last weekend of the season. That is no different than what happen to LSU in 2007.

Right...lsu is legitimately 3-3 vs bama and has won the sec 2 times in the Saban era. Lsu can't control biased refs, biased schedules, and undeserved rematches. Miami blows and proof is you referencing teams in the early 2000s.
