Apparently down to UF and LSU....IMO it's prob LSU and FSU with UF closing in

seems strong in favor of LSU....again it's ESPN so take it FWIW

RASCO

quote:

For a long time, four-star DE Jermauria Rasco of Louisiana (No. 139 in the ESPNU 150) was thought to be headed to either Texas or LSU, but with former Longhorns defensive coordinator Will Muschamp now Florida's head coach, the Gators have become a serious player for Rasco.Rasco's coach, Phillip Deas, tells Edward Aschoff of the Gainesville Sun that Rasco is expected to visit Florida and Arkansas with his last two officials. Those two schools, LSU, Texas and Florida State make up his final five.

Like his previous decision, this one is expected to come down to whether Rasco feels the pull to stay in state or is willing to put his future in the hands of Muschamp. The fact that Rasco didn't know much about the Gators program before Muschamp was hired is not an issue. The Tigers' perhaps unstable coaching situation might have been a concern before, but with Les Miles' new extension, LSU's case is stronger.

I hope they're right and we get Rasco but I like the fact that ESPN now has opinions on recruiting. Just like the 4 letter network to seize the opportunity, jump in the party too late, and make some money...

Yeah that's why I said TIFWIW....I really don't trust ESPN, especially with recruiting. I am a big Rasco fan however, it just hasn't sounded very promising lately

He went to Evangle that doesn't make me think we have a good shot. Love to have him though.

yeah that's one of the things i've heard, I hate when that happens with kids. it should be very much their decision, but all in all hope he ends up in P & G

Newburg thinks he is visiting LSU this weekend, and then will either visit ARK, Florida or Texas the last weekend. That is why I said "as of last night" with his visit to ARK this weekend. He told the coaches he was definitely visiting, but as with 18 year olds - he told the next set of coaches that came through something else.

They've been so consistently wrong lately it's mind-boggling when they get something right for a change.

Just noticed this:

JNewbergESPN Jamie Newberg
Just spoke with DE Jermauria Rasco's head coach at EAC & he will now visit LSU this weekend not ARK. Next week he will visit TX, ARK or UF.

It may indeed seal the deal if Rasco visits LSU this weekend, but let's hope former Tiger Byron Dawson doesn't try to push Rasco toward either Florida school. He should stay out of it & let Rasco decide.

I read somewhere his last OV before NSD will be in Gainesville. yall know if this is true or not? apparently him and Muschamp have a good relationship, don't know if it's strong enough to pull him out of LA though

For the post above that said Dawson's pushing Rasco to not go to LSU is not true. Dawson been pushing Rasco to go to LSU since he was a freshman. I will say this it is something for him to change his visit from Ark. to LSU this weekend. He is just letting him make his own decision and what he thinks is best for himself. If I was making a guess I would say it's LSU and Arkansas because it close to home.
