Been watching all of the Texas High School Championship Games. Jerry Jones Grandson has a scholarship offer to Army. This is my question, is the Grandson good enough to play in the SEC?
Thanks
Thanks

if his only offer is from army, id say probably not.
being a jones - if he was capable of playing in the SEC you would think Arkansas would be the destination.

Not a power 5 conference prospect. Only a Junior, but he is 5'10 175lbs

I've seen him play twice this year once at home and once on the road. He is a little on the small side. But he is tough, smart, throws a decent pass, good pocket presence and appears to be a leader. The only negative as a quarterback that I've observed is his size. I'd also be questioning his upside. You know he has had to have the best personal coaching and training money can buy. He will definitely play somewhere and end up as president of the Cowboys.

The great Grambling Collage coach Eddie Robinson. I had the previlage to sit next to him at a baseball game .
I asked the question coach what is the number one thing you look for in a quarterback his answer was height .
The answer was thirty five years ago and to this day it's still the number one question a coach ask a scout how tall is the kid .

CEO has connections to his Stephen Jones, the kid's father, from his Arkansas days Ed O speaking to Little Rock TD club. I would imagine if he was a P5 prospect Arkansas and/or Coach O would have had some conversations.
Check the 32 minute mark talking about Stephen Jones.

Not for a west team.

Alums with deep pockets are nice.

If Jerry still around by then, he'll try and make him QB for his Cowboys. If he grows to about 6'0 or 6'1" by the time he's out of college. You watch and see, he's that arrogant, he'll argue with his son and Garrett if he is still there "I'll telling you Jr can quarterback us".

Coach Robot Garrett has him projected as a Mizzou transgender quarterback
