I think its great that a lot of these guys recognize us as DBU and want to come here. But with the guys from Texas the couple here in LA and the guy from Florida and Cali, wouldnt some of these guys look at the stiff competetion and maybe want to go somewhere else they have a better shot at playing? I mean this is a great problem to have if you're LSU.

Same reason 4 stud RBs sign with Bama with Yeldon and Drake only 1 year ahead.

to be the best, you have to beat the best in practice every day.

Man, I wish we could figure out a way to somehow rotate players on defense. That way, there would always be talented fresh legs on the field, and everyone would get a chance to put together a highlight reel.

not only that, but it's so difficult to get more than one defensive back on the field at the same time

yeah, maybe our coaches can create some sort of package where we can put a max amount of DB's on the field at once. we can call it the "dime"

Yall are all highly ghey. I understand you can put more than one DB on the field at the same time but we recruit top DB's every year and you cant have 11 DB's on the field. You dont think some of these top guys dont want to come in and start right away and wont look at the recruiting classes before them...? Yall are seriously dumb as shite

Idk, when we have the talent we play with 5-6 dbs on the field. If you look back when hatcher and francois starting at lb, almost every snap had 6 dbs on the field.

No u are dumb as shite. Most of these guys will be gone in 3 years. Gives the other guys that rs 2 years to play. We also play 6 dbs with them rotating in and out. So we playing anywhere between 8-11 dbs in one season. Obviously that number changes with lack of depth or injuries.

Lets not forget special teams. I highly doubt our coaches cant sell playing time.
