so i was looking at his stats, and it said he only had 28 catches last season, but a great avg with about 18 yards per catch. but why did he get so few catches?

After watching Jefferson the last 4 years and you still ask why a potentially great receiver has so few catches? Sometimes the problem isn't with the receiver but a trigger man not being able to put the ball where it needs to be.
"With all due respect" to you Jefferson supporters.

Hinds QB last year only completed 54% of his passes. Leslie averaged just under 3 catches a game. They averaged throwing only 23 passes a game, and the QB had the 2nd most carries as well. So it seems to be the style of offense and lack of throwing talent that limited his receptions.

Its Junior College man, not every JC team has a Mettenberger as there quarterback.

Look at the stats closer and deeper. They tell you that Quan was a big playmaker when he did get the ball. He did not play in a smooth running high flying offense.

Stephen Hill caught 28 passes for 820 yards in 2011 and was drafted in the second round of the NFL .

Crowton left LSU for Hinds?

Hinds was a running team with a below average qb. Their passing game relied heavily on screens or throwing the fade to Leslie.

I have a question for everyone...Since QL will be coming from a JUCO, is he enrolling into LSU now and playing this season? Or does he wait until 2013?
