Put it on Mandeville last week. Beating Southern Lab 44-0 at halftime now. 183 yards passing and 3 td's. Will be interesting to see how he does against Rummel in a few weeks.

Didn't he have some type of injury? He was nasty on the mound too.

Stares down his targets, does not check off or go through progressions, throws off back foot and lofts ball too much!

Meh, he does some of these things (this is junior highlights, BTW), but he also does some good things on the clip as well -

1. He doesn't rattle easy (at least, not in the highlights)

2. He makes plays with his legs, but not necessarily running the ball.

Now, that was a lot of shotgun and he does rely on his arm strength to get out of jams. He would be an interception machine if forced to play early. But, I bet the kid runs a good scout team for us next couple of years.

This kid is going to surprise a lot of people. Very high potential.

He's got real potential. I hope he gets some playing time to see what he can do.

Loving has a very odd throwing motion to me, he looks as if he is pushing the ball rather than throwing it. It’s hard to tell from the video how strong his arm is.

That said, his release once he decides to throw looks mighty quick. And he is accurate on the film I saw.

He looks like an interesting prospect to me. QB can be a very hard position to rate. You can measure size, speed and how much a kid can lift. Measuring his ability to read defenses, look off safeties, and having the knack for playing under pressure is very subjective.

I think that’s why you see so many two and three star qbs excel in college. The recruiting services are better at comparing physical measurables than they are with looking at smarts and leadership qualities.

The odds of any walk on player ever starting at LSU are never good. But once in a while you get a good one.

@ double oh. Sure he will. Jordan loving will play college level at Lsu. Did you know he signed with Lsu to compete and play. That kid will be first or second string come first week of September 2018. You heard it here first

. Serious question. Where did you get the film? I’m trying to find some and can’t seem to find anything outside of the highlights stuff or on YouTube. Do you have a contact that I can get? The paid service I have is really good, but I’m looking for game film.

Hes a preferred walk on hes not a SEC QB. Better to go to Southeast or Nichols. He has heavy foot and a weird throwing motion.
