I don't think Miami's problem has to do with desire to get the program back to where it was. I think it has more to do with where college football is now. They have an excellent recruiter in Golden. But I don't think he is that good at in game coaching. Plus he was seriously looking at PSU and I think he leaves sooner than later. The fact of the matter is Florida goes in cycles as to the dominate program of the time is. Rarely are all three at the top of the heep at the same time and there are more programs now taking players from the state of Florida that simply have better facilities and big time on campus stadiums that are more attractive than busing to your own home games for players and students as well.

PSU was supposed to be his dream job. I don't think he is going anywhere unless he is fired.

Could be. You may be right. But it has to stick in his crawl a little bit that he didn't know about the NCAA troubles until after he took the job. So who knows. I think there are Miami fans who would like to move on to another head coach. I think many have doubts as to how far he can take them.

No argument there.

Wish we would have gotten the verbal before he left, but I do like the wording that Jimmy used about going public. Goes with all we have heard for weeks

Miami's biggest problem is that they are not in the Big East anymore. Back in the day when they were winning all those championships they played a two or three game schedule. Everything else was cupcake city....
