Jared Harrison-Hunte

Just wanted to add that he's apparently connected to Bill Busch in some way. Busch is the one working to get him down here for a visit before NSD.

Agreed...Ohio State, bama, UGA, Mich, A&M...plus those highlights...no idea why he's rated where is he.

And this is the exact SDE size we need coming out of HS...no idea what that other poster is talking about.

From doing some research it appears he's only been playing football for 2 years, and he played on the DL only 1 of those years. He was a TE as a Junior.

Looks good, but that is a very long offer list, lot of teams to beat out.

He must've figured he was too violent for TE...makes sense.

I have a feeling he'll like LSU, if we can get him down here. His leader has been Penn State for quite some time...that's nearly a 5 hour drive from where he lives in NY, so distance from home might not be a huge factor.

Hey everyone. I made a mistake. I understand our defense pretty well, and he is a DE in our scheme.

I was walking my kid to school, opened the profile, saw DT, and closed it. That was dumb. His measurements clearly scream DE.

Hope I didn’t ruin anyone’s day.

It appears that the staff is making plans if we swing and miss on our top prospects and have learned from last years mistakes. Glad to see this.

I'm a little bearish on anything coming out of NY let alone an underrated guy. Went back until 2014 looking at rankings and it aligns with my gut feeling. I'd probably assumed he'd drop some weight also going from NY climate to BR heat. Wasn't a bad looking blocking TE his junior year tho

I’ll never understand why someone with those kind of offers is ranked so low

Me neither...should be at least a mid-4-star with those offers...then you see his film, and it verifies it.

This doesn't seem much different than Goodrich popping up late last year. Hopefully the results this time around are better.

I agree, and I think going after this kid late is a good start. I believe there are several other SDE prospects we should be going after similarly right now, too.

Aside from Sopsher, Young, Moore, Fuller and now Harrison-Hunte, these guys are also up for grabs:

- Jaquaze Sorrells
- Jason Bargy
- Jamond Gordon
- Smith Vilbert
- D-Von Ellies
- Matthew Pola-Mao
- Ben Smilley
- Carl Williams

I guess a couple might project more at NT.

We need to cast a wide net.

I really wish 247 would go even further to separate projected positions, and they should absolutely indicate who is signed and who is not signed on their prospects rankings lists.
