DJ Banks was a 3-star recruit who signed with Tulane. Paul Turner is lights out better than Banks.

Looks to be a good athlete who hasn't hit his peak yet. Has decent speed and should only get faster. I wouldn't mind taking him just to run the wildcat. Seems to have great vision and solid decision making abilities.

this.

He is a tremendous athlete with a really good arm. I don't think he has an sec arm. But if he has his heart set on QB, someone will give him that offer.

LSU has inquired about him as an athlete, mostly to be utilized on defense. I think he'd make a great safety because of his athleticism, speed, and instincts. In my opinion and my opinion only, he's a little stiff in the hips to play corner. He even walks like an old man.

He a super kid from a super family. His dad works for the West Monroe Police Department and is a great guy. I would expect him to be a high 3* or low 4* athlete when he is ranked, however with his athleticism, he is the kind of player that could blow up a camp or combine.

We'll see, but an LSU offer wouldn't surprise me because he could do so many things. Almost a "can't miss".

Dandy Don has him ranked #34 in the state and that is way too low.

I think he is only playing QB out of default, right? He is just there best athlete so they put him at that position.

Not how it works at WM. He's the QB because he's a great option QB.

I watched every one of the finals games in the dome this year. He was the most impressive player of any team I saw. U can't teach what he has, and if those guys are right about him being a high character guy we better find a place for him

Extremely high character. Quiet and reserved with good manners and good grades. Very humble kid.

Offense or just skill players? Several have been 3-4 year starters on defense. On offense, Larry Wright ND/Tech, Mike Mitchell ULM, Frank Goodin ULM, Tommy Banks LSU, and of course Jerry Stovall LSU.

He doesnt want to play QB. He likes contact and he wants to play Saftey rather than Qb next year, but he knows that wont happen.

I got this info from one of the olinemen from last years team.

Balance, elusiveness and intangibles.
If your gonna continue to run an option to the short side of the field run it with Paul..WOW
Would not want to play against him.
Sign him up Les (clock manager) Miles.

He has been playing quarterback his whole life. Alothough I think he could make the switch easily to corner or safety. His pro shuttle time speaks for itself, he can change direction in a flash and he also is one of the strongest sqauters on the team. Wherever he goes I think he will make a great impact. If he doesnt get the LSU offer im sure ole miss, miss st, vandy, or some other lower SEC school will offer him as an athlete.

While Paul Turner was very impressive, did anyone else notice the block at the 4:55 mark? Talk about downfield blocking. Then look at what the offensive line did to the defensive line right after that.

Turner is an impressive athelete. He is a lot like Randall Mackey from a few years ago.

The big strike against him at the QB position is his height. He could be a good DB or a utility guy. He has the grades, 4.0, and the ability. It will be interesting to see how he shakes out on the next level.
