Ed ' s son. He's lighting Barbe up right now for Mandeville . Has 112 yards and 3tds. He apparently had a strong showing at the LSU camp last year. Only has interest from Tulane, Southern Miss, and La Tech

I honestly do not understand why people do not want him (Ed) at LSU

Per a reliable source, Coach O will join the staff after the season. Miles and he had an agreement after O couldn't find a HC gig this offseason.

No idea about his kid.

Does that mean we lose Brick Haley then? Is there a way we can keep everyone and still bring him in

There are many reasons why he should not be hired such as the following but not limited to being:

* A drunk,
* Unprofessional,
* A person with no integrity,
* A liability, and
* A cheater.

No matter how good of a recruiter he is known to be and being a good DL Coach, LSU does not need to hire this Bozo as a Coach or Recruiter. This guy has been a 'Natural A@@hole' everywhere he has been.

He actually recruited Marlon Brown,WR, GA Bulldogs (from TN), and went into his grandmother's house drunk and used foul language toward some of his family members. Alcohol makes you do and say some silly things. I will stop here because it gets much ridiculous.

...But has he changed?

I'm all for improving in areas we are deficient, but let's make sure things are right (if this is even true)

Im pretty sure that professor parks(or whatever the frick his name is) is indeed talking out of his arse. I mean, in what capacity? Is Brick leaving? Orgeron isn't coming here to be the director of player personnel or some shite. This guy just threw a bone out into the yard to see who would go and fetch it.

Eta: Just go about your day as if you'd never even read that.

When we were at our 30th reunion for a championship at Northwestern, Bebe was inducted to the Louisiana Hall of Fame. He told us that he did not have any contact at all with Les Miles and LSU. Wants to be a head coach or at the very least a defensive co-ordinator. Coming to LSU is Not going to happen!!!

Not joking or playing, but take it for what it's worth.

I wouldn't put my life on it to happen, but that's what I heard about 2-3 months back after O decided to basically take this year off.

I have no reason not to believe my source, but we all know sources aren't always accurate and sometimes things don't come to fruition all the time.

I look forward to O's return to the recruiting trail if true.

I have no reason to believe or not believe you. I do find it interesting that O sat out last year. It will be interesting to see what his job prospects are for this coming year. Would love to have him at DL and let Brick move on (and I like Brick).

He may have a chance as a lower tier HC or mid level DC. Hopefully we can bring him on board before a UF or other SEC gets him.

Eta: kjan how long ago was that you talked to him? No chance you think he would take a high paying DL job at LSU?

Orgeron comes to LSU & the NCAA is camping out on our doorsteps in a matter of mths. As for changing, he's not been gone from the black bears all that long & he was a major cheater there.His gig was funneling money to the state's black churches & then using them to "recruit" for him. As well, he certainly did not go on the wagon while there.

I keep hearing this about O but has never been found guilty of anything. Every good recruiter is guilty of something.

The black church money funneling rumor was about Auburn and Tropper, from what I remember.

And after the Marcus Dupree special, this seems like standard procedure in Ms.
