It looks like Grimes is quietly doing a helluva job recruiting targets that we've had no idea about.
Three names have popped into the picture within the last 3 weeks.
Patrick Hudson - may get an OV
EJ Price - OVed this past weekend
Scott Lashley - put us in final 3 (not sure about OV)
It looks like he's still putting in the work to get us a fourth o-lineman (assuming Allen commits to us).
You gotta love it. He and Corey keep at it.
Does anyone have any info on the O-lineman I've listed and their feelings about LSU?

Good point. This is another prime example of the fraudulent insider info gone wrong. Grimes was supposedly 100% leaving just a few weeks ago.

LSU gets Willie Allen this week and that's the last OL for the signing class.

Props to Grimes. He got a lot of heat mid season, but the line improved and he is doing work off field.

No one seems to have any idea what's going on with these three. Grimes keeps things close to the vest, and random 4* linemen just keep announcing they're coming for an official and LSU is at the top of their list. I fully expect him to sign a surprise guy, maybe one of these maybe not, on NSD. I do know that EJ Price didn't bring his family this past weekend and UGA is a heavy favorite.

Well it's funny, 'cause there are guys on the QB threads saying it doesn't matter about the QB, we have to recruit the trenches.
That's exactly what Grimes is doing and there are no threads ever started about the works he's doing or the targets he's after.
I don't doubt that we'll get Willie and that'll be that, but I wouldn't be surprised if he pulled another guy in.
It's better than talking about the QB debacle, which is not all that bad IMO.

LSU has been on Lashley's radar for quite a while now. I have had him as a 30-50% possibility since the Summer. I would love for him to be the 4th O-Lineman in this class.
