They have anyone worth a damn that could be poached based on the probable Nutt release?

C. J. Johnson. He was a 5 star linebacker that decided between us and Ole Miss. He said that he wanted to represent his state and that is one of the big reasons that he decided to stay in state at Ole Miss. He is a freshman this year so he would have 4 to play 3 if he were to come. Other than that, I have no idea.

I think he meant 2012 recruits. Also, it appears OM has moved CJ to DE (that's a lot of scronyms).

I think they've mentioned Channing Ward as an Ole Miss lean, so if we get him(who Haley really wants according to reports) and maybe Liggins, I could see a domino effect where most of our last spots go to MS players.
Ward
Liggins
Alford
R.Brown
Q.Evans

we really need to focus on miss. if ole piss and state fall apart we don't want the other sec west schools in front of us. think liggins, ward, quay, brown (backup plan). alford off limits due to baseball

I agree with focusing on MS. If we do we just take one out of state OL, Collins and Devall, and done

Yeah I meant people that are currently verbals to Ole Miss that might now be reconsidering since Ole miss has looked so awful/the coach they committed too might be gone next year.

They only have a few guys committed who are worth a sh*t. Two of them (Gross and Strong) are South Panola kids who will sign with Ole Miss and probably not qualify anyway. A third (Walton) is an intriguing scatback prospect from Memphis but he will also likely stay close to home or go to Tennessee. Plus there are plenty of athletes with his size and skill set within our own state, and we rarely take RB's that small regardless. A fourth (Mathers) is a solid RB but nothing special compared to what we have waiting in the wings. Expect Tennessee to make another run at him, as well. Then there is some 4* OL from Indiana (Meador) that I have never heard of before.

As noted above, it could definitely help with the high-profile, uncommitted Mississippi prospects.

The other possibility is that they hire a young, exciting coach and it gives them a bit of momentum going into recruiting season.
