I know this poster in real life, his info legit. Gonna post from his friend with connections to Bama recruiting: internal e-mail

Keep an eye on this kid…our staff likes 2023 QB Ricky Collins from Woodlawn High School Baton Rouge , La. as much if not more than Arch….He is 6’3 1/2 185 lbs. Incredible athlete that LSU is trying to quietly keep at home.He s tops on there board too…

And so it begins, good luck Gumps, you gonna need it. I figured pressures would come, but not this damn soon . I like our chances though.

Not surprising in the least bit. I feel like this is the only way they operate when we go head to head in recruiting.

I mean frick the gumps but it's a good strategy. Try to weaken your biggest threat while improving your team. I can't stand the midget but they are a beast on and off the field. LSU comin for they head though. Geaux Tigers!

Not specific to anyone that has commented, but come on guys. Yes, the REC can and does infiltrate La. for occasional player we really want. Every year nearly all States bleed out a kid or 2 that just want to leave home, for various reasons. We really do own our state by and large. If it’s a player not from our stronger areas of recruiting, O.K. Bama has better chance of signing than us, but a La. kid my money on Ed every time. I know our staff sure the hell shows No Fear.

Collins isn't some consolation prize

He is really good. When i saw him throw at the camp and 7v7 i liked what i saw

He can move in the pocket, has a strong arm, and seemed to be accurate

I think he will be the qb next yr

Well, not a lot of options left when the best two QBs in the state for 2023 have no intention of attending LSU...

I agree, lots of buzz I hear , especially after Peetz gave Ed his Evaluation. So looks like La. will have 3 top 10 National QBs for 2023. This is absurd, but I could definitely get used to it yearly, real quick. It isn’t just coincidence that when La. is loaded in concurring years that those teams go onto be true Contenders for Championships. Look back on last 20 years, our better teams were mostly consisting of La. kids. Sprinkled with key out of staters in positions we usually lag in.

These next two classes to go along with 2021 class I see us winning a NC or two within the next 2 to 5 years

I appreciate your insight to the program, especially recruiting. CEO has to keep LSU in the mix for a NC every 3-4 years. Saban just signed an extension through 2028 averaging $10.6M per year so he's not going anywhere. NIL endorsements have changed the game as any current & future starting QB @ Alabama will always be offered crazy money. LSU needs to keep up with other SEC & Nationally ranked programs regarding NIL endorsements.

How is Marcus Randall’s relationship with former coach Saban? I hope it’s LSU over Saban.

I agree with every word you said. I am very interested to see team chemistry next few years. So Bama QB making near a mill a year, others on team will be widely varying amounts. To me impossible to keep team from various amounts of jealousy, and other kids feeling entitled. I don’t have answers, just curious how teams keep the comradely in tact. Will be tough, till a few more definitive laws are established. Just my opinion.

Has to be legit because you know Bama coaches have awful spelling and terrible grammar.
