what it is for most of the players.

We always knew deals or handouts were a thing, but the American dream is persuading these young minds to come play for the mister dance to the end zone.

I can tell you his pitch right here:

"Son, do you want to work as hard as I had to work to be the best or do you want me to show you the short cut and make some money in the meantime? Come on and get you mind right."

THey ruining the sport with this crap and this is only the beginning.

Only good thing that can come out is maybe EA sports will start making the football game again.

If you had given me 1.5 million I would have gone to Jackson state over LSU too.

This is the adults doing this, I don’t blame the kids at all for getting paid.

In many states, football coaches are the highest paid government employees in the state.

College football fricking prints money.

How can anyone be mad that these kids are finding a way to get a slice? It’s not as if the university is paying them.

Things change. Adapt or die.

How long until some of these kids with big NIL deals get robbed by a teammate because of jealously? Because you know 18 year old will be flashing Rolex's and jewelry everywhere possible. Hell, Deion got robbed when he first started.

This has been one of the best seasons in recent CFB history. No clear juggernaut, plenty of upsets, etc.

Some people are just weirdly upset that their entertainment is getting compensated.

Imagine getting paid $1.5 million then having to go to English 1001 where you have more money than your professor

The players generate a lot of money for the school and you think its a handout for them to be paid?

Oh, I thought they were poor college kids that couldn't afford a sandwich, and were treated like they worked a plantation? I can't keep up with the different narratives surrounding the issue.
