Does anyone think the coaching staff needs to create a better relationship with the N. Louisiana high schools' coaches?

What is the reasoning behind starting this thread?

What prospects have we lost from NLA since Miles has been here, other than Luther Davis?

Hopefully Alabama getting a commit from a player LSU didn't offer wasn't the reason for this thread.

Kenny Bell is the only other one I can think of

I've contributed to Alabama just as much as Bell

Why did Bell sign with Bama again? I know he was committed to us for the longest time, but I've never heard why he went to Bama.

Don shows seems to like us

Torshiro Davis but he couldnt get on the field for us. LSU is strong in North LA and its a logistics thing, 80% of the states population is in the South.

Yeah Shows stepped down a few months back.

The concentration has shifted to the NOLA area. Wilson's ties to the area have been huge. That was an area that previously was almost Anti LSU with the best players going elsewhere. It was a great move imo.
The North doesn't get as much attention as it did before but, the relationship isn't terrible to my knowledge. I mean Les visited Shows in the hospital.

No. Sitting out this year due to health problems. Arledge is still considered interim.

I'm willing to bet the relationship with those N-of-Bunkie people is much stronger that it appears. And there is no question about W Monroe specifically.
Most "animosity", what there is, is based on political and funding issues and not strictly coaches. But since the days of Edwin Edwards are long gone and the days where you only need Orleans parish + 2 others to get elected are no more that has faded significantly.
