He'll be at LSU again this weekend. Maybe they can get an accurate weight.

JJ you happen to know his squat and power clean rep max?

With that kinda size and strength I hope Coach Hunt and Arledge are in his ear about dropping 50-70lbs and moving to NG. He could have a bright future.

Damn records are getting shattered at the WM this year. Here is senior LB Layton Garnett getting 28 reps on bench. You can hear Sanders have him rack it at rep 29. (Funny that ties Luke Sanders record)

28 Reps 225

And about a dozen other players over the last 2 decades ha. Just for arguments sake who do yall think is the best Wm/LSU player of this era. I would think Whitworth. And no jerry Stovall is not in this conversation, I'm thinking shows era players.

Didn't do squats, did 250x9 on cleans and the bar slipped.

Shawn King was the best athlete. He won the state title in the high jump as junior and senior in 1989 and 1990. Played TE at West Monroe...I never understood why and he goes to LSU and starts at OLB as a freshman. He was all-state in basketball. Of course we know what happened after the 1991 season at LSU.

Coach Shows always said Brian West was the best football player he ever coached.

I know it is still early for this incoming freshman class but they just finished their Iron Man Competition today and several records were broken for this competition.

Several players made the all time leader board in the 40 yard dash and the Rebel shuttle.

In power, one player broke three records with a 40' medicine ball throw, a 390 lb squat, and power cleaned 250 lbs seven times.

It is a good looking freshman class. They have to continue to work hard. If they do they should help contribute to two solid classes ahead of them and hopefully have some recruits that consider LSU.

This is my nephew!! He has always been a nice sized kid.. As of now, they are saying he needs to get down to 340. At the end of the year last year he was 375. He was also a former basketball player.

Hope everything works out for him...would love to keep the WM pipeline open down to BR. A kid with that kind of size and strength just needs some good coaching at the next level.

He likes LSU a lot, but Cam Robinson is one of his good friends and we all know where he plays.

He is down to 368lbs and will be another 20-30 lbs lighter by the end of the season.

I am really hoping LSU offers him. He plays against Neville's Rashard Lawrence in there jamboree this Friday night. I think he will have an eye opening year.

He loved the camps down in BR. He has a good head on his shoulders and that is a plus. He understand the opportunities that will be open, but he has to have a good year.

They play Lufkin, TX in the annual Battle of the Borders. As of now his options are open.
