Surprised he didn't have some choice comments about the structure of Aranda's contract (which would be why he didn't list LSU).
Frankly, LSU should do everything possible to build/rebuild the relationship here. With him at IMG that may be more difficult (could help too, who knows). It's what's best for the program.
But just like when Speedy dropped LSU from his list, I'm not going to go with the wishful thinking philosophy and say he's trolling. I'll take him at his word and not hold my breath.
It's noteworthy that he mentions Cochran by the way. That MAY be a hint that Bama has taken the "we prepare you for the NFL better than LSU" route. Note prepare, not get you drafted. With comments about LSU players like Danielle Hunter etc out there, I think other teams that have draftees on the same level of LSU have taken that tact.

Yeah, I was under the impression LSU was still in the picture. Then I read that article today and was just dumbfounded. Wonder what happened for him to seemingly drop the program from his list all together. A year to go, so I'm not going to waste any more time over it. Texas just sticks out...Why Texas? Charlie's days are numbered over there, he's in over his head. That's a potential landing place?

He gone. One of the reasons he went to IMG. He will already live away from Baton Rouge and on his new campus. He will avoid the pressure and backlash that comes with spurning us for our arch rival. It will be a smooth transition to move from Bradenton to Tuscaloosa, while avoiding the vitriol that comes with growing up in the shadows of tiger stadium and believing Saban will somehow get him to the NFL faster. It seems to boggle some people's minds that a kid from Louisiana wouldn't want to go to LSU. It's not hard to comprehend.

2017 is a long way away. If LSU fields a nasty D this year, Aranda shines and LBs suddenly become the centerpiece of the LSU D, Moses will give the Tigers another look.
Either way, Aranda and O are going to do just fine recruiting quality players to LSU.
