I wish this talking point would die. He's a damn good coach..

You can argue his character all you want.. No arguments from me on that, but he is a hell of a coach and has the wins to back it up.

It amazes me how parents could believe thiat guy would ever care about their kids. He claims all of the success that his teams have and pours the blame for the failures out on everyone else shamelessly. He's definatly a salesman cuz he has to be to pull that crap off.

As for a good coach, people need to see just how many little perks that he gets from the SEC that all add up over time. The caliber of players that he has along with his work ethic are what plays the biggest role in his success. He is a good coach but not the best IMO. There are a bunch of coaches in the country that do plenty more than they should be doing with the players that they are getting.

I love seeing Au getting stronger and now it's time for Tenn to step up because there is a huge difference between our yearly with Fla and theirs with Tenn. Maybe we need to steer a couple of the guys that don't quite get the schollie from us towards Tenn. A Bama has to have a pretty big streak going against them by now.

Yes it is but is it OK to go to the school of a 2014 recruit during the dead period if the coach is visiting a 2015 recruit?

They aren't allowed to do anything but "bump" into a 2015 and "say hi", but everyone blasts through that rule. Basically it is called the Saban Rule because he was doing it so much.

I don't like Saban coming in and taking kids from us. However it is up to Les and his staff to do something about this. We sure liked it when Saban keep ours at home and got a few from states next door. It is part of the game.

If this is true, I want our coach to be half great. Then we could have Number 1 recruiting class every year and win 3 NC in 7 years.
