The NCAA also said member schools and conferences can adopt new rules to provide these family travel expenses on a permanent basis or for other championships.

Does this give bigger schools or schools willing to dish out these expenses an edge in recruiting?

No impact on recruiting
The only two teams benefitting are the ones that make the champ game and I guess they could roll it out to the semifinals as well next year.
THat's why I thought semifinals should have been on campus sites to prevent so much travel.

To me the SEC champ game should do the same thing and pay the same stipend
