Not to be a Debbie Downer, but that tape was sped up just like Lache Seastrunk's was. Unless everybody on the field is just insanely fast. Still looks to be a solid hitter with good instincts.

Doesn't matter. It's comparative speed that matters. Watching that video, this kid is super quick and agile in his first few read steps, he analyzes the play extremely well, makes his break, and then accelerates into a violent tackle.

Oh, and he takes on lead blockers like a damn freight train. The one play where he lays out the lead blocker before making a TFL just made me smile.

You see other top LB's with only 2 or 3 plays on a highlight video that looks like this guys entire film.

I hadn't seen anything on him before today, but damn, I'm impressed.

no it isn't, watch the refs. in sped up film the refs moving like jack rabbits gives it away. in his film the refs move at normal speed, therefore, not sped up.

Watching that film and also Kwon's all I can say is that we have 2 potential stud LB's coming in. Both guys play extremely fast and deliver a blow.
One thing I loved about Debo is how quick he seemed to read the play.

Impressive burst by this kid and hits and wraps up well. Looks like he can quickly diagnose plays and react with authority and top end closing speed.

Only thing I didn't see in the video was an ability to shed blocks. I'm not saying he can't do it, I'm just saying in those films I never saw an O-lineman or FB actually get to him. That will be something at the next level that he needs to be able to proove, however with his speead and footwork it may be real tough for big maulers to get a clean bead on him.
