I am no star gazer but I was looking at various highlight videos of players and commitments last night and how this young man is not rated higher is puzzling.

He is quick off the snap and sheds blockers extremely well. He also has that natural unteachable ability to just find the ball/ball carrier. He also seems to handle a double team pretty well. I realize that these are highlights but the consistency of what he does is clear. He was the same against every team they played on his video. He is just a pure disruptive force.

I have always contended that LSU has several commitments who will pick up another star after they play in their Senior year but I believe this young man is a lock to do so.

Anyone who may have seen this young man play in person please share your opinion.

The guy can be a great player but out of all the highlights i seen of DT and OL one on ones at the Nike openings he attended he didnt impress me. I think out of all the reps i seen he got to the QB once...which made me think what is this guys hype. Trust me i hope he does well and comes in and dominates but from the highlights at the opening of one on ones he left a lot to be desired IMO..

The 2018 class has alot of guys that i believe are more so filling depth and going to be project/developing type players. IMO 2019 class is where we get the high profile type players

So based on what he did in shorts and a t-shirt his hype (which isn't much) isn't warranted? Correct me if I'm wrong but I think he got nicked at the opening. Could have had something to do with it.

I think this kids offer list and play with pads on speaks for itself. I'm pretty excited about him and I bet our coaching staff is too

I've heard that he was injured at the opening, but if you watch the videos from his time there he was dominated on every rep and looked out of place. I believe 247 had him as a borderline 3* then dropped him to the #1000 player after the event

From what I saw at the opening there was rampant holding allowed by OLs. It was a joke and it was in shorts and T-shirts. That is a glorified walk thru drill.

His game highlights are damn strong and he has offers from LSU, Bama, Florida, Ga Tech, Kansas and others. It put much more stock in offer lists like that than I do in some silly camp like the opening.

It is in shorts and t shirts but there is without a doubt several D linemen that go in that camp and dominate. With him being a big DT it is concerning to see him get stonewalled almost every rep. Marvin Wilson and Tyler Shelvin looked like bulldozers in those drills last year even in shorts and T-shirts

I'm from Plaquemine. He was hurt for most of the summer. They had a scrimmage against W. Feliciana Friday. He was double teamed and held the whole time. But he still managed to cause 2 fumbles and get 2 sacks. West could not run up the middle. He is as good as advertised.
