I've been following the Tigers since 1978 and these are the only 2 centers that I think were better than Ethan Pocic. Ethan may end up an All-American this year.

No not at all. I just look at his size and athleticism and see him as a left tackle. Just don't see many centers at that height. Usually it seems they are shorter and more stocky. But I like him, I think he is a great player for us, just have to wonder would our line be more effective with him at tackle.

Great answer! LSU isn't recruiting the beat center on the team. They are recruiting the best O lineman on the team who usually is at tackle

Mawae didn't really play center at LSU until his senior year.
