@GoodmanESPN: Mitchell Robinson, the No. 15 player in the country, told ESPN he has committed to Rick Stansbury and Western Kentucky.

This was brought up the other day that it could happen

Can't say it's dumb because he will still be a 1 and done. But people questioned Ben's willingness to win? It's fricken WKU

so? He passed up Landry Walker and probably everybody else to become an Owl... clearly program status didn't mean that much to him

We've got an opening on our staff. Shammond Williams come on down!

ETA: frick it. No point in recruiting one and dones anymore. We'll never be Kentucky so it's pointless. Last year proved that trying to add one super talented piece to a bunch of moderately talented pieces where everyone knows it's a one year only thing isn't going to work. We'll never win that way.

Pinkins left after Williams got hired at WKU. Do we really want to though? You want to go through the same shite with another kid who doesn't give a frick about our school? I wouldn't even recruit Javonte Smart in 2018, I don't care how good he is.

GREAT decision for the kid. Made the right choice. Best of luck to him. As much as I love LSU, I would never commit to LSU unless the head coach they have is gone for good.

And this dude's talent isn't in the same universe as Ben Simmons.

Paul freaking Hewitt was able to win this way. Think about that.

I agree we don't need to recruit anymore one and dones but the problem last year was Jones wanting to recruit every guard in the country to play with Simmons rather than recruiting a rim protecting big.

Recruit what way? Who in the hell do yall think this dude is? You dont hire a coach for this type of dude. This isnt some program changing recruit.

He went 16-15 the year he had Bosh. They went to the finals the next year.

And that had more to do with getting hot at the right time. That Tech team went 9-7 in ACC play.
