Normally, a post of that length gets no attention, but after having taken the time to read what you said, I agree with you. Very well-stated opinion on how team success can be a secondary factor for certain players choosing a school.

lache to this as well

Lache got himself into trouble getting involved with that recruiter.

If he was still at Oregon he would probably still be ok.

Rantavious Wooten at Georgia and Justin Hunter at Tenn were both verbals that I think would have helped us in the passing game. Doubt they regret their decisions though.

M. Davis 6-148-24.7-1

His stat line from Saturday's game. Why would he want to be in our offense?

Mike Davis is from Texas and decided to stay home and attend the flagship. He is fighting for the home team. Fans are only interested in winning. Players are interested in more. I am happy that Spears, Clayton, Fault, etc. were not just interested in winning teams. Otherwise, LSU would still be losing.

Kevin Faulk picked LSU over Florida State in 1995. At that time LSU had 6 straight losing seasons, while FSU had 8 straight years of top 4 finishes including a MNC during his Jr year in HS. During Faulk's 4 years LSU was 29-16-1 and went to 2 Independence and a Peach Bowl. FSU was 43-6 and played in 2 NCG plus 2 other major (BCS) bowls. I'm willing to be Faulk doesn't regret his decision and neither should Davis. Both made what was the best decision for them.

Its pretty presumptuous for fans of a team a player passed on to say he should regret his decision because the team he signed with is not doing as well. He did sign with Texas the year after they played in the NCG.

This team would be sick on offense if we could have hung onto Hunter and Davis! They would be paired up with OBJ and Landry! I think we could find a way to stretch the field with the receivers, and still have the power running game!

I always thought Seastrunk would be our next superstar running back, but he made a poor choice. Davis probably didn't.

Actually think it is probably a better question asked of Cordarelle Patterson or Justin Hunter at Tennessee.
