Couldn't help but notice that we have a 2018 propect visiting this weekend. I searched on google and 247 and couldn't find anything but I'm assuming that he's pretty good if we're already targeting him. Any information from the recruiting gurus out there?

Kid is pretty big for a freshmen. He could be around 220-230 by the time he is graduated. Good size for a college qb.

Must be pretty incredible for a kid that age to join the elite recruits at Bama vs LSU on a Sat night in DV. Hope they all have a great time.

I've watched him. At the time I saw him was an 8th grader. Starter for Redemptorist this year as a freshman QB. Very powerful arm. Able to move around, but I wouldn't label him as a dual threat. He's about 6'2" 225 HUGE hands. I shook his hand and I'm 6'5" made my hand feel really small. I think he could be special as a DE or somewhere on the defensive side of the ball. Was praised by the QB guru in Cali that saw Brandon this summer. We have been recruiting him since he came to a camp last summer and impressed.

Man your son looks fantastic. He's got an absolute rocket for an arm. Won't be long before things get crazy around your house. Congrats. You've done a great job with him and good luck in the future.

Mike is a good kid and hard worker. He also placed 1st in Shotput & Discus in EBR Middle School last year in Track, so he is plenty strong. I'm just perplexed by his decision to attend Redemptorist when other schools looked to be better choices.

Another kid to keep an eye on that came from the same middle school as Mike in ('18) also is Kelvin Joseph (6'0, 170-175). He is a starting freshman Safety at Scotlandville currently... Kelvin won the Long Jump & 200 meters in EBR Middle School last year in Track. Very Instinctive & plays up to competition.

He will get the best Catholic education available in Baton Rouge at Redemptorist.

Catholic > Redemptorist
Haven't been over there in a couple of years but probably
St. Michael's > Redemptorist also...

Since you are so informed tell me the advantages of going to Redemptorist besides the other two I named besides the fact he stays down the street from the school... I'll wait...
