Michael v McKnight (v Murphy?)

for the record, i only included murphy to (a) get an LSU comparison and (b) rantards always say murphy is our own reggie bush
but i have seen limited clips of michael, and he seems to possess similar body control and open field running to mcknight. but michael seems a step or 2 faster, and michael put up his stats against Texas 5A ball, which is a lot better than LA 2A ball
but i have not seen enough to judge them fully. i plan on getting on a friend's rivals account later to view more vids, but i don't think this has been discussed on this board yet. if so, i apologize

don't insult Joe McKnight
best playmaker in HS I've ever seen
the dude came into quite possibly the most embarrassingly wealthy-in-talent situation at the RB position ever in college football as an 18yo true freshman and showed he was clearly the best one of the group by year's end

he had 540 yards rushing and 3 TDs (125/1 came in their last game against illinois)
he had an impact, but he wasn't the truth or anything. he was their #3 rusher

Maybe the other 5* guys were Over rated. Moody surely bolted for more playing time

Nooooooo. Better than Trent Richardson. I see the Bama logo, but that's crazy talk.

Point is...Michael will redshirt if he goes to a stocked roster (LSU).
JM also returned punts and played spot duty situations for USC throughout the year. CM will not at LSU and USC is more loaded than LSU.
JM > any RB this class.

LSU has established runners. USC doesn't really
and scott/keiland played as true freshmen. murphy only redshirted b/c of an injury late in high school

Wait when did I miss evryone hopping on McKnight's nuts, was it just based on one performance(Rose Bowl)? Outside of that I know he is clearly talented but he had his inconsistencies, and really only had one great performance.
I am not knocking him but wondering why everyone is riding his nuts.

McKnight plays in a weak conference where there's USC and everybody else. His best game came against a Big 10 team, nuff said about that.

McKnight also had fumbling problems his frosh year, iirc.

McKnight was the #1 player in the country coming out of HS was he not?
so yeah, I think he is considered better than Trent Richardson for Pete's sake coming out of HS
Richardson I believe is a back that looks like a Ronnie Brown type, thick and fast, which translates into to durability to SEC coaches..
yet to be seen..
I want CM because he wants LSU and is a very comparable talent, and seems to have more character and humility than TR...at least from what I have read in their interviews...
Long way to go for all of them

McKnight's speed was deceptive. He was a glider.
Michael seems to have quicker feet, and seems more powerful. I havent seen too much on him.
But its hard to beat McKnight.

I'm trying to make nice with you Trio, but if you think there's any comparison RIGHT NOW between Trent Richardson and McKnight then you're wrong.

It was a joke, Clean.
Simmer down.

Don't act like it wouldn't have either.
