Starting for LB U (PSU) this year. I wish we had gotten him but his dad or something went to PSU.

Figures one of the best LBs in LA in years wouldn't have any interest in LSU

It would have been nice to have Les evaluate him, but honestly the team didn't need him. Guess we will see just how good he is this season.

We didn't need good LBs? Huh?

We always need good LBs. It's pretty much always our least talented position.

But it didn't matter because he was all Penn State, wasn't he?

Congrats to him. We had some mutual friends and hung out a few times, and he seemed like a cool dude. It does suck that we missed out on him, but he had family ties to penn state so theres nothing we can really do.

by the time les watched him it was to late..he wasnt always a lock to PS, lsu never gave him much time until he had already committed.

Who was the last great LB for penn state anyway? Lavar arrington? It just sucks he has to play for a middle of the pack Big 10 team where he will never smell a national championship, much less win one. I hope if we play penn state in a bowl game Charles Scott runs him over and lets him know he should have played football in a real conference and not that joke that is the big 10.

Give the kid a freakin break..step into his shoes so you can get the real story..Grow up knowing your dad played at Penn State..Then your brother. You become a big time recruit and are pretty wide open on recruiting with a little lean to Penn State where being a white linebacker is common..you committ and then LSU wants you..I know Mike and he is not one to back out of a committment,he did the right thing, hes already a starter..if he were here he would not be playing until his RS junior season opposed to his true soph year.
