Very good read. I always disliked jarret's footwork. JL is depending on a strong arm and makes a lot of throws off his back foot.

I more fully think the issue goes back to Crowton. If the offense continues to be the disorganized mess we've seen for the last three seasons, don't expect Mettenberger to excel, despite his talent.

Why Chance it. If Crouton stays for 11 then goes for 12 Mett will have to learn a new O in his second year. Not enough risk for the possible reward.

Crouton needs to go. Please make it happen Coach Les.

Thanks for the link.

Throws a nice deep ball. Good touch.

Looks like we might have a QB who actually can execute a play-action pass where it looks like he hands the ball off, instead of sticking it in the air 3 yds from the RB.

He gets the ball out of his hand fairly quickly after the snap from those clips. Hard to tell, but it actually looks like he goes through his reads on a couple throws.

This really jumped out to me in the video. Does a great fake.

If our running game just stays the same, much less gets better, Mett should be dirty at the play action.
