If Jefferson shows that hes fully recovered from the injury and performs well at the camp, he will be ours. Don't sleep on Rashard Robinson though, we were one of the first to offer and he's been blowing it up at the summer camps

rickey jefferson will be a tiger. he along wilth rashard robinson will be our cb's in the class. as much as i love priest he will more than likely be a trojan. with that said, rashard and rickey have great potential at the cb posistion.

Jefferson has no type of conditional offer dude.

I didn't quote you and was responding in general. Chill. I never said "no matter how long he waits" you must be confusing me with someone else. I do believe that the instate offers will stay out there until accepted.
You are correct. I still disagreed with what you said before and what you still say now, but it was Sunnydaze who said "no matter how long he waits". To be honest, you are saying exactly the same thing but I shouldn't have put quotes around it and attributed it to you. So I will say I don't think Jefferson has an offer until signing day if LSU can fill up the class without him. That used to be reasonable when you could sign more than 25 easily. That is no longer the case, and the last thing a coach wants to do now is to come up short on their 25.

Another little subtlety you may or may not have noticed. Guess which high school he goes to? The exact same high school in Pompano Beach that Avery Johnson played at. What is the percentage chance that the LSU coaches and Avery Johnson the WR have had a conversation about Rashard Robinson the CB? Hmmmm, I take a wild guess and say 100%.

And of course, no one said he did have a conditional offer. What I said was that he did NOT have a "saved scholarship".

Yea, ok. Keep thinking Les isn't saving a spot for Jefferson.

Man, are you joking? You really need to do a little more research.

Am I the only one that has a feeling Jones will eventually end up on the Dline?
Yes!! He is all middle linebacker and a good one. Your to use to seeing DB'S playing linebacker.

Nice get LSU!!
He looks like a more aggressive Quentin Wheeler @ QB.... Pretty darn athletic for his size..

Not only Avery Johnson from Blanche Ely, but his brother Patrick Peterson. May be a small sample, but hopefully it's a pipeline in the making

I jsut find it hard to believe (and don't) that R. Jefferson has a "saved" spot" when you consider that there are elite players in positons of need we could still be in the hunt for...
Sooo, if it comes down to a last slot and it's between a decommitted R. Nkemediche, for example, and RJ, RJ gets the nod?
Les is going to do the best thing for the program, and that almost always means going for a clearly better recruit.

Les will make room for both if that is the scenario. Just like we have seen in the past, there is attrition, non-qualifiers, decommits, etc that will give us some flexibility.

That is VERY exciting. In a couple years, LSU will be untouchable at the LB position.
