This lady and her young son walked into my job last night and the kid was decked out in Minnesota gear. I said let me guess your favorite team. The mom answers for him and said her oldest son plays football there.

I asked his name and had think about it for a second to make sure I was thinking about the right player that we were recruiting, but it was Melvin. I told her how much a lot of us wanted him here and wished him well in his journey. She said that he is not feeling the weather there too much.

She said he really had his heart set on LSU, but we all know how that ended. Best of luck to young Melvin.

Thanks. Really enjoyed his dad on here. It's a shame schools can't bring on every kid that loves the school, is what it is.

Hope to hear Holland's name on some sports show one day "and here are the explosive stats of Melvin Holland Jr against Ohio State".

Really? i mean its a max of 5 years he would be here...but probably less...so you are gonna not come to a perennial power house that puts players in the league because of the weather...he needs to make his own decision

Pretty sure the OP is talking about the Minnesota weather. That being said, not really sure what kind of weather he expected in Minnesota. But isn't he from VA? Surely he understands cold weather.
