I dont know how I feel about getting outbid for in-state prospects. A&M just seems to be becoming more dominant in recruiting

I love how it went from him being a Texas lock to A&M within a day. It’s like fricking Storage Wars but with teenagers.

I don't like it, that's for sure. But I think the track record of those who hold themselves out for the last dollar is not great so far.

Was going to say the same, hasn't resulted in much of anything for them yet, so time will tell how much they are actually "dominating"

R. E. L. A. X. Dumbo Fishstix is still their coach so we know they will never amount to anything.

Honestly don’t really even feel like this kid is worth it, if the so called “reports” of his family not even considering LSU are true. Wish the young man nothing but the best but it ain’t worth our misery. There will be another Dominick McKinley next year. Kind of funny Texas whiffed imo

I don’t wish him the best. I hope he likes the sterile, howdy, atmosphere.

Honestly, I’m not trying to shite on any HS kids…

But dudes like this rarely workout. It’s one thing a Simmons who seems torn and ultimately likes 2 schools and one outbids the other. This kid is a mercenary for hire. He doesn’t give a frick about your coach, your town, your school. It’s money.

You know what that means? He won’t work. When push comes to shove he will fold. That’s just how it is and why these dudes never work. This is a tale as old as time.

Losing recruits over money is the one thing fans should be okay with. Straight up, the kid is full of shite. He said he committed to A&M because of Robinsons ability to develop talent and get him in the league.

If that isn’t some bs I don’t know what is. They haven’t had a high draft pick since Myles Garrett and Von Miller before him.

Jacoby Matthews said something similar about their DB development.

Sounds good in their heads but a quick fact check makes them look like dumbasses

All I’m going to say, is that I remember another a highly touted defensive lineman recruit that scorned LSU, who also extended an offer to their brother in hopes of landing them, and it didn’t turn out so great for him. History does often repeat itself unfortunately.

Told this board LSU had a lot of ground to make up early in recruitment, Mom was the key to his recruitment, making her happy was gonna get it done. His Pops was just happy for Dom to make his own choice but mom won out so far, LSU may still have a chance if they can get him on official during season.

Lol he isn’t going on an official visit to LSU. He’s had it in for LSU since he left without an offer when he camped last summer. And I’m good with it because if that’s the case we will be much better off without him. His high rating was based off of him happening to have a couple of interceptions and a pick 6 to go along with his measureables. Any time he’s gone up against a decent high school OLine he disappears (you’ll see tonight if you watch the game). He may end up being a solid DT eventually but I’m not even sweating this one. Our coaches didn’t think he was good enough when he camped at LSU and I think they know what they’re doing after watching him play against teams with a pulse.

What's funny is all I hear living in Texas is how trashy LSU is, the people in LA are trashy, the place is trashy, etc. They get a verbal from a LA kid and it all goes out of the window

I wish him well (sort of), but think his brother may be the real stud here.

Sounds like a guy who picked Bama a few years back and amounted to nothing. But his brother (hopefully) picks the good guys and turns out to be the really good player...

So how much did it cost to "make her happy"? Lol

I have no idea but if u looked at the commitment vid on Twitter, it’s looks like a business decision and moms is all smiles, Dom shows really no emotion and Pops is just happy for the kid to get some of this stress off of him, kid is a real humble quiet kid
