“Ever since the coaching change, the players feel how the program and outlook of the university has changed," Wilson said. "I have never heard the players talk that positive about LSU, and I have been there a few times before.”

ESPN

Wow.

I am very happy things have turned around and losing the things that were causing us to be hamstrung.

Very positive for the future.

Could easily see this on the field, and I am sure the locker room is a lot better...

He is the type of guy we always finished second with in the past. Hopefully that trend changes going forward.

Worse than growing stale and complacent, Miles was incredibly arrogant and too stubborn to listen to feedback. As he said, he didn't give a damn what other people thought.

It was definitely time for him to go. Here's to coach O restoring the pride within our program

It's going to be weird not feeling like we've sold every offensive recruit a bill of goods.

I always wondered what they could've possibly told stud offensive players to get them to come here... or if those players didn't own a TV

I heard Matt Mascona mention something about that on Monday. Man I'm glad we hired a new HC and OC. During the season things were so much up in the air. Our coaches are really out there busting their asses to get us where we need to be. Loving recruits are saying there is a noticeable culture change. I had a good suspicion the players under Miles were beat down with so much uncertainty.

I imagine the only possible pitch they could use would be to play to the arrogance of teenage males: "You will be the one to turn the offense around. You're our missing link."

Maybe the exception being RB. We always run the ball.

Exactly why he should have been gone last year. He was killing the program with complacency.

I don't know if O will work out, but it was the right move to bring someone new in.
