State, if it was Kentucky, he would've signed already. Sampson decision made it easy for him.

Unfortunately, I think Sampson coming here will steer him away from LSU.

Just to be different, I'll predict Kansas--LOL!

Seriously, most likely Mississippi State.

My contact close to the situation just told me: "I thought it was going to be LSU but now it looks like it will be wherever the money is best and that is over seas." LSU Patrick was the first to say it.

If signing Sampson gave us 10% less chance that he MAY sign, I'll take Sampson and my chances.

Sampson is likely to be here for more than a year unlike Newman. Both very good players. Happy we get at least one. Very deep at guard this coming season and we have decent guard size.

BIngo. Newman seems high maintenance.....looking to either cash on for a year overseas or self promote himself in college for one season. Its a team sport. I'll take Sampson

It's just hard when a program like Kentucky with a top tier coach and recruiter, sets their sites on you and puts on a full court press, to not give them the time of day. Especially a 1 and done guy.

He could have the EXACT same stats at MSU as Kentucky, but he would be a higher draft pic simply because he learned from the more hotly respected coach and program.
