"They told me it was the longest meeting Coach Saban ever had with a recruit," he said. The previous record was an hour and six minutes.

He also stated that Malachi is the best WR in this years class and he is their number one choice.
How many times has he used this line ya think?

Yeah I wonder what the record is for talking with Les Miles Lmao

Also, take into account that Andrew Bone wrote the article.
Mike Coppage "Clean" has similar stuff on scout

"It was nice," Dupre said, "nicer than I expected. The buildings are all either brand new or refurbished and renovated.
"My family liked it, too. I know Alabama is a great place and didn't want to make my decision without visiting a special place like that. They've moved into my top and I'll be back."

1 hour 20 minutes with Saban=5 life changing minutes with Les.

Clean is the go to for Curtis. I'm sure the kid enjoyed his trip. Bama is just better than everyone else in that environment. Are they lying? Pretty much with everything that they say. Recruits and their families still eat that shite up.

Yeah I glanced at their board and they are bragging that Little Nicky will steal another kid from us.

Doesn't take that long to say, "You're from Louisiana. Go to LSU.".

“We had a real good talk. It was me and my parents. We touched so many subjects, we were just talking and trying to get to know each other better. We talked about life and how he wants everyone to be treated equally. We also talked about winning and being disciplined since he’s really good friends with my head coach at Curtis.”
Saban is trying to use this angle? Really?

Exactly. People flip out when they read a kid enjoyed a visit. A kid like him is visiting the best programs/facilities in the country, of course he is going to love what he sees and hears at those places. The only caution is that Bama was not really a school he was seriously considering according to some people and now they are up there which adds more drama to the process. He also said he might wait until signing day so he can visit all the schools. Potentially going to be a long bumpy ride to the finish line with Dupre.

Everyone should be treated equally. So come to a state that doesn't recognize MLK's Birthday. Instead they celebrate Robert E Lee's birthday on that date.

Wanna bet Saban had a hoodie on? I'd even go as far to say he cut the sleeves out and referenced his time with Belichick.

most curtis kids wait out their recruitments.
Also, Blacknall stated in his last interview that LSU had 2 WR commits and were likely getting 3 more WRs from La so TIFWIW.

It's weird he wasn't considering him since he was the number one guy on their board and all. I guess it's because they didn't start pursuing him until other guys eliminated them from contention. Strange way of going after the number one guy on your board.
Posted on 7/24/13 at 9:21 am to TigerRantMan99
Haha really how many times has he used the "you're my number one guy"?! I've read that so many times. I can't believe they still use these same lines over and over.
Hey malachi, if you're reading this, 1) you will be our best big wr when you come to lsu. 2) saban will probably never talk to you again unless you frick up.
