Not a loss IMO, with the haul from next year(expected), and with Raymond getting that contract. Would rather get Amik, who would be a great Nickel, Returner on Special teams.......

Anyone who thinks that Alabama isn't paying Louisiana kids to go there - or promising their family "incentives" is just blind.

I'm not saying that Alabama pays everyone. But, I think that there is a real recruiting strategy for Louisiana players, knowing that whoever they get from Louisiana will make them stronger and LSU weaker.

Do what's best for my family? You think that LSU doesn't put DBs in the League? They are everywhere. Crazy.

His statements sound like they came right out of Saban's mouth.

If Harris goes that means
Dylan Moses - bama
Devonta Smith - probably bama
Tyler Shelvin - LSU
Todd Harris - Bama
Christopher Allen - Bama
Stephen Guidry - LSU
Isaiah Buggs - Bama
Brad Stewart - Probably Florida
Bruce Jordan Swilling - GT
Phidarian Mathis - LSU or Bama.

I know we aren't recruiting swilling and stewart. But that is a very scary list seeing how many are running out of state when recruiting Louisiana was meant to be the easy part. Not too mention Florida and Texas recruiting is only gonna get harder in years to come as a lot of these recruits are even considering schools like Ohio state and Michigan, plus if Texas becomes relevant again under Herman they will have a good shot at locking down the top Texas kids

Indeed. Most recruits who think they shite don't stink say the same bullshite. Business decision shite, doing what's best for me and my family shite...

Malachi Dupre said the same shite...member?

im I got the vibe he was not coming to LSU. You could tell he felt really uncomfortable when Vincent was hinting at him to stay home at LSU. I've seen that before too many times.

Yep. Saw it with Russell Shep and (eventual Florida WR) Andre Debose and Brandon Harris and (Bama's) Cam Robinson.

One thing about Harris tho, we have a great stable on the roster already that he has to break thru, including beating out Stevens or Deloitte for playing time, plus 2018 is already shaping up to be one of the best hauls yet (tho nothing is guaranteed until NSD )

Correct, there is no other reason to go to Alabama. None. Not one.

We are not on the same level now, no one is, just accept it and move on. We aren't getting everyone because we aren't as good.

Also, don't play the Louisiana card, we have recruits that we are cherry picking from all over, its a business and kids are being taught to treat it that way from us...who want all the best players. So we shouldn't be hypocrites and little whiney kids about a choice they make.
