This post is spot on. Facts or the facts. Is Bama a hell of a program you bet ya! Are they that far a head of us, you bet ya not! It is all about breaks and my God they have gotten them, just as we have.

quote:

Bama's dominate OL is gone from last year, and next year, their dominate QB will be gone. Your LSU Tigers should be the clear favorite in the SEC West next year. This year looks like a toss up between Bama and LSU in November, but then again, Bama's cupcake shedule will likely win them another SEC West title.

In bold is the kicker. If and if us or another team(A&M) can go toe to toe which I know we can then it is game on. Finally a Bama fan that sees through regular glasses and not crimson ones.

when we consistently show our offense is better than it has been in years past and we beat bama CRob will start questioning his decision because it looks like we're finally getting out of the quarterback doldrums. we have some mighty fine looking ones there now as well as in the upcoming recruiting class. and hopefully coach cameron will coach them up. there's a wide spread feeling the only thing missing from additional championships from years past have been below average quarterback play. looks like that's about to end. we'll have no excuse then.

All I can say is that I am so fricking fired up about out QB and our young QB's that we have to look forward to in the future. I know it is all based on potential at this point, but you know what, I will take that

Have you lost your mind? How do you figure that LSU has better coaches? They have not produced a successful NFL Qb in years. To be blunt the reason Robinson chose to play at Bama is he knows that he will be a pro player in 3-4 years and that he could go to any SEC school and be a future 1st rounder...BUT to have the absolute best chance to play for a National CHampionship is at Alabama right now. They have the best coach in the last forever in college football. Hell he took LSU from being mediocre to a NC in no time. The only reason this team is any good today is because of what he started. Saban also took Bama from a team that could not beat ULM in Monroe to a NC in 2 years. Great players can go to the NFL at any major school but if they want a NC ring then the best shot is in Tuscaloosa and not Baton Rouge.

You will see after this year!!!! First round QB, the best OC in the nation, best back in the nation, much better offense then bama, coaches, and players..... It apparent CamR just made a huge mistake and you will also see once we whip that arse in ttown this year and it won't be close! I can't wait to see ole Nicky have a tantrum on the field after we put up 40 on y'all!!! Hell we almost beat y'all 3 times with no QB or OC!!! Watch bama head!! This year is the year all of y'all's dreams come crashing down!!! Y'all play no one until LSU and it will have an affect.... We will be well versed on competition so this will back fire! Take Cam y'all gonna need him!!! We will still pull off an amazing class, and again next year..... LA has the best Athletes in America and ya coach obviously knows it...... After cam cam puts his offense out there and they start talking up LSU...... It's GAME OVER for poor bama...... LSU 42 bama 13 face it bra y'all suck this year...... Saban asked AJ to stay because he knew with out him y'all's offense would be terrible and they still looked horrible! Y'all couldn't even move the ball bra!!!! You can't fix that! It's not just the OL but the whole offense took a huge hit with all those OL leaving at the same time..... Then AJ leaves next year! Lol good luck with LSU in the future! Bama nation domination is OVER..... Take that one mayb Hootie too BUT the rest are ours, don't matter anyway, cams about to light up the nation and all eyes will be on how he did with this offense and Mett!!!!!! He we go!!! Get ready!!! You better be nervous!!!!

You do realize that Saban took over a team that was 10-2 in 2006 and he is the one who lost to ULM in 2007, right?

But thanks for bringing this up, because it gives me the opportunity to post this:

I do believe Chavis is better than Smart. I think he's the best DC in the game. And I think Cam is better than Nussmeier. Our recruiting staff is excellent as well.I also believe the AD and the Strength and Conditioning coach are both as good as any.
I never talked about which team has the best Head Coach. Clearly it was easier to win a NC there in the past, before the playoff and with a much easier schedule each year. U dont have to be very smart to understand that. I do believe the perception among some recruits and the media is that it will be easier to win a NC there moving FORWARD. I do not believe this to be the case with the new playoff system and when the scheduling bias finally runs out. They were lucky AND LSU was unlucky at the same time ie the perfect storm. If both of these things hadnt happened it wouldve been 2 NC's a piece at worst. But, life isnt fair and neither is college football. They seized their opportunities and made it happen. I give them credit for this. If the shoe were on the other foot, I would be the first to say shite happens.
But u would think at least one influential media person would bring up some of these points from time to time. Just last yr if A&M and LSU dont play Florida what happens? 3 way tie 11-1 where each team beat the other on their field. And to top it off they get to play Notre Dame in the championship. The year before u lose at home and get rewarded with a bye and get a revenge game handed to u. U dont even win your side of the conference and u get to play in the NC game? 3rd place in your own conference. And yet u are crowned the champion? How does that compute? That kinda luck is not sustainable. Oregon wouldve given them a helluva game last year just like Georgia, A&M and LSU did.

First, we need to get the wusses out of our fanbase. All this, "Good luck Cam" crap is making me sick. He is recruiting Hootie and LF to Bama! Wake up Tiger Nation! Run him and West Bama High out of this State!

While Saban is known for being meticulous and game planning, Miles would be a great coach to play for. It seems Saban would throw you under the bus if you didn't perform to his expectations while Miles would treat you with respect and stand up for you. Some guys might respond better to Saban's personality, but for me personally, being coached by Miles for 4 years would be an awesome experience.

I don't give a rats arse. You can sit here and say that LSU does not have just of a chance as winning the NC as Bama does year in and year out. Yes they have won the last 3 out of 4, I don't need you to remind me of that. Don't come here and say he went to Bama because that is his best shot at winning the NC, I still call BS on that.

A break here or a break there for us and no break here or break there from them and it is a totally different story. Point is, that is how close these two programs are. Plain and simple.
