Let Miami have him. I promise there is a kid out there with equal or more talent that doesn't need behavior modification. Maybe a labotomy would do him some good. No thanks.

All the character questions are exponentially more important when you are talking about the QB position.
We've seen the damage done to the program by poor decisions on the part of Ryan Perilloux and (to a much lesser extent) by Jordan Jefferson. Les isn't going to take this guy; I doubt we would take Mettenberger today, because we are in a much better place now than we were then at the QB position.

Nah, I imagine this is a saving face situation for the kid/school.
Same high school as Joe Barksdale, right?

Uh..... Les still took in Jeremy Hill among others who had things in their past.... Les hasn't shown that he is afraid to take a kid if he feels the person has/can change.
Jeremy Hill got a blowjob in high school. The only real high profile risk he has ever taken was Ryan Perrilloux and that was his first recruiting class, he was desperate and the kid was supposed to be what would happen if Randall Cunningham and Peyton Manning fricked and had a football playing baby

After watching that video the kid should be playing defense.

If anything, he'd be a scout team QB we could tee off on in preparation for the HUNH teams..

On LSU's campus? This guy wouldn't last a week here.

I remember this story when it first came out. Pretty freaking stupid some of the shite this kids do when they have a full ride somewhere on the line. Like that one dumbass kid who once turned down offers to start his rap career.
Posted on 6/17/14 at 3:32 pm to tduecen
Does he actually have those offers or he did and he's trying to save face now?

Actually LSU needs to sign him up to give Guilbeau something to write about

CORAL GABLES, Fla. -- Quarterback Jake Heaps is transferring from Kansas to Miami, where the former five-star recruit will join a team short on experienced passers.
Hurricanes coach Al Golden announced in a news release Sunday that Heaps has signed a financial aid agreement with the school. He has already graduated and will be eligible to play immediately.
Miami is trying to find a replacement for last year's starter, Stephen Morris.

Don't want him. Let him go to some small insignificant college.
