I'm glad we haven't had a plethora of decommits like we did last year.

You gotta believe with so many OOS commits we will lose one or two before signing day.

Well just off the top of my head:
Janzen Jackson
Kenny Bell
the Farrell kid from Florida (LB)
Henry Orelus
DeAngelo Benton
Dexter Pratt

That's 6 players and I'm sure I missed some. That's 25% of the scollys that we gave out. We had to scramble to fill the last few spots.

Orelus and Wooten were the only two who really compare to the situation this year, when we have a bunch of early OOS commits.

There was a lot talk about Orelus leaving for a while. That wasn't a surprise.

Losing Wooten sucked but I seem to recall nobody cared because we all thought we were getting Debose.

ETA: I don't count the Farrell situation. We don't know the whole story there. I think we basically ran him off.

Actual decommit.

Decommit.

More of a "we parted ways" type of thing.

Henry Orelus

we definitely cut ties.

DeAngelo Benton

Depending on what story you believe, we cut ties.

Dexter Pratt

Looking more and more like we cut ties...

Scrambling and picking up Sam Montgomery is not a bad trade off. Sans Jackson, I'd take him over any player on that list twice over.

I think the only other one was Rantavious Wooten...

UGA fans are claiming Wooten is lighting up their summer 7 on 7s.

I'm still pissed we don't have Rantavious and Barkevious on the same team.

I was talking about Barrow, Logan, Johns, Claiborne. Anyone in the country would have made room for Sam.

Jefe: We have stuffed many pinatas for your birthday celebration!
El Guapo: How many pinatas?
Jefe: Many pinatas, many!
El Guapo: Jefe, would you say I have a plethora of pinatas?
Jefe: Yes, El Guapo. You have a plethora.
El Guapo: Jefe, what is a plethora?

They will come. I think we have too many out of state commits not to lose a few.
