Could it have been better with all the in-state talent? Maybe. We won't really know that until 2015 or 2016. Can it always be "better"? Sure- if you don't have the #1 recruiting class - it "could be better" - and even with a #1 class - it could always be a little better, right?

Is "perfect" the enemy of the "good" in this case? Most likely.

This class will be the core of a 12 or 13 win team - that fact alone makes me very excited.

I can barely remember back that far.

of course, we only need to look in the near past to truely understand what saban learned from those years. I know a lot of folks want LSU to be known as DBU....but, frankly, if we were known as OlineU many of our past disappointments wouldn't exist. JMO.
